The Aging in Critical Care Interest Group is a collaborative, interdisciplinary group of critical care experts with a multipronged focus on improving the health of older adults across the spectrum of critical illness and recovery.
Goals and Objectives
- Identify and develop patient-centered, aging-focused research priorities across the spectrum of critical illness and recovery.
- Enhance the integration of principles of geriatrics and models of geriatric care into critical care medicine training and professional development.
- Increase awareness of important clinical care issues faced by older adults with a critical illness.
