Welcome to the Environmental, Occupational and Population Health (EOPH) Assembly Website.  Our Assembly welcomes new members who are interested in environmental and occupational health, population-based approaches, the effects of climate change on respiratory health, and emerging concerns in EOPH. We also welcome members who focus on epidemiology, genetics, genomics, climate science, toxicology, basic science, pulmonary function, and other methodologic fields that further the core interests of the EOPH Assembly.

The EOPH Assembly represents a broad range of researchers, clinicians, educators, and public health professionals who are interested in the contribution of environmental or occupational factors or in using population-based approaches to address the burden of lung disease worldwide.  The Assembly has approximately 500 primary members and 900 secondary members.  Our membership and focus is global – one-third of our members are international.

The Assembly leadership especially encourages trainees at all levels, early career professionals, and international ATS members to join and get involved. We welcome you to attend our membership meeting at the ATS annual conference and encourage your participation in Assembly projects and committees throughout the year.

Thank you for your interest in the EOPH Assembly.  Please feel free to send us your ideas, queries, or feedback at eoph@thoracic.org. We look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will join our Assembly and participate in our activities.
