DOMESTIC

Full Member - Domestic


Full membership is for individuals living in the United States who are directly interested in the fields of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. Full members pay the full membership price and have voting and leadership privileges within the Society. Significant financial discounts are offered on the purchase of Society goods, services, meetings and educational offerings.

Affiliate - Domestic


Affiliate membership is for individuals living in the United States who are not practicing or conducting research primarily in pulmonary, critical care or sleep-related medicine. Lesser financial discounts are offered for the purchase of Society goods, services, meetings and educational offerings. Affiliate members do not have voting privileges.

Trainee - Domestic


Trainee membership is for individuals living in the United States and enrolled in any level of training in any accredited degree program or discipline. Financial discounts are offered for the purchase of Society goods, services, meetings and educational offerings.

Senior - Domestic


Senior domestic membership is for individuals living in the United States who are fully retired or have an income limiting disability. Senior members receive all journals electronically (or they can purchase a subscription(s) to receive printed versions of the journals). An individual cannot join ATS as a senior member. Members who qualify should contact the ATS Concierge for transfer to senior membership.

Emeritus - Domestic


Full members who have reached the age of 75 may apply for Emeritus membership by contacting the ATS Concierge. Emeritus members do not pay annual member dues but have all the privileges of full members. They receive all journals electronically unless they pay for a subscription to the printed copy of the journal(s). An individual cannot join ATS as an Emeritus member.


INTERNATIONAL

Full Member - International 

Individuals residing in countries designated as high, upper middle, lower middle and low income by the World Bank shall pay a membership fee commensurate with their country classification. Individuals who pay a reduced membership fee will have the rights of a Full Domestic member as determined by the Board of Directors. Full International members receive electronic journal access only and do not receive print copies, but they have the option of purchasing print copies at $75 per journal title per year. Financial discounts are offered for the purchase of Society goods, services, meetings and educational offerings. Trainee - International
