The Ride by Vasculitis Journey 

The Ride provides a unique view of what it’s like to be a patient of a rare disease. It explores patient experiences with medication, the psychology of coping with a rare disease and finding the humor in it all.

Pulmonary Function Testing

In this video clip, Dr. Ulrich Specks gives an overview of pulmonary function testing.  He explains concepts such as lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airflow, and neuro-muscular problems. 

Vasculitis Foundation 

Pulmonary involvement occurs in these forms of vasculitis:  Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis, Microscopic Polyangiitis, Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis, Anti-GBM Disease, Behçet's Disease.

The most common respiratory symptoms are dyspnea, cough, stridor, and hemoptysis.

Continual monitoring of pulmonary health in patients with lung involvement is critical.
