Assembly on Clinical Problems Sreedhar Nair Lifetime Achievement Award in COPD

Description:

This award should be given to a domestic or international individual who has made outstanding scientific contributions or provided exceptional service to the behavioral or social aspects of the prevention and treatment of the emphysema and chronic obstructive lung disease.

*This award is supported by a grant from the National Emphysema Foundation.

Criteria:

  • MD, Ph.D., or similar degree
  • At least 20 years of experience following post-doctoral training
  • International recognition as an expert in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • A clinical, research, and/or public policy career focused on improving the lives of people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Nominee's curriculum vitae must also be included
  • The nomination package must include a nomination letter that supports the listed criteria
