Dec. 11, 2020 – The American Thoracic Society, in partnership with dBase Media, is producing a unique online video program that will shine a light on the respiratory health community.
The program will capture stories from the organizations and health care professionals who work across pulmonary, critical care, sleep and public health. It will showcase innovation in education, research and patient care, in particular the multidisciplinary approaches and collaborations that lead to improved patient outcomes.
With COVID-19 highlighting the interconnective nature of global health and the fatal consequences of health disparities, this program will provide voice to those who are making advancements towards health parity. Improvements in diversity, representation and access to care have never been more important. As such, the program will capture the success stories from across the health care community, providing a platform to then engage ATS members and the wider health care community on some of the pertinent issues of our time.
Helping the World to Breathe will launch at the ATS International Conference on May 14, 2021, with a possible preview during a virtual conference. The program will be hosted on the ATS website, then be distributed and promoted through an omni-channel distribution campaign managed by dBase Media.
